Liberal Senator Michaelia Cash moved amendments to the second reading of the Bill to reflect that a review of the Act must consider the impact on small businesses and sole traders, and that the report be tabled within 15 sitting days of it being presented to the Minister.
The motion was voted down with 34 votes against and 29 in favour.
Senator Pocock voted NO.
