AGAINST – Reference to Finance and Public Administration References Committee (Response to COVID-19 in Australia)

Liberal Senator Gerard Rennick moved that the efficacy of previous and ongoing measures to respond to COVID-19 in Australia, with particular reference to pharmacological evidence and safety data regarding vaccines, and measures including vaccine and mask mandates in addition to travel restrictions, be referred to the Finance and Public Administration References Committee for inquiry and report by 21 November 2022. 

The motion was voted down with 36 votes against and 29 in favour. 

Senator Pocock voted NO.
