Join Senator David Pocock in the Parliament House Theatre to hear from experts, community leaders and politicians about the opportunity presented by household electrification.

The Government has announced that they are developing a Future Made in Australia Bill to supercharge decarbonisation and position Australia as a renewable energy superpower.

Benefit to Australian households has to be at the centre of the policy, and electrification is key. This event will focus on how the Future Made in Australia Bill could deliver savings to households through cheap renewable energy, and how you can play a part in accelerating the energy transition. We will also discuss the difficult problems in electrification such as how to make sure the benefits of electrification extend to renters, low income households and those living in apartments.

This is a rare opportunity to attend Parliament House and hear directly from policymakers about how a keystone climate policy can reduce inflation, accelerate the energy transition and save Australians money.

Please arrive at 12:15pm to secure a seat in the Theatre. Entrance via the Marble Foyer, at the front of Parliament House.

Details of speakers to follow.
