Referendum & Voice to Parliament Information

Later this year, we will vote in the first Referendum in Australia in 24 years.

We will have to vote YES or NO to:

“A Proposed Law: to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

Do you approve this proposed alteration?”

Below you’ll find some of the best resources that explain where the call for a Voice to Parliament comes from and why the request is being put to the Australian people and not Parliament.
