Come along to our May Town Hall in Woden to hear about progress on key priorities and talk to me about the issues that are important to you.

The town hall meetings are part of my commitment to doing politics differently and remaining open, accountable and accessible to our community.

Swing by from 5.45pm for a fundraising BBQ courtesy of Suburb Zero. Proceedings being at 6.30pm.

With the Federal Budget handed down on May 9, we will be joined by ANU economist Associate Professor Ben Phillips, who is also a member of the Economic Inclusion Advisory Committee, to provide a brief response to the Budget and its implications for the ACT. Ben is a Principal Research Fellow at the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods and has 25 years of experience as an economic and social researcher in Australia. He manages the ANU's microsimulation modelling team, which mostly focusses on the Australian tax and welfare system, and the majority of his research is in the areas of personal income tax, welfare, superannuation and housing.

Ben will also share his views on the cost of inequality before handing over to me for an update on what I've been up to recently and what's on the agenda in the coming weeks. We will then move onto Q&A. You are invited to submit your questions online via Slido as well as from the floor on the day. Please submit them here (enter the code Pocock23 if prompted).

You are invited to submit your questions online here as well as from the floor on the day.
