Senator David Pocock, Thomas Emerson MLA and Fiona Carrick MLA invite you to a community town hall to discuss the recently announced changes to the NDIS.
While these changes are being made at a federal level, their impacts will be felt locally, and will require the ACT Government to deliver services for people with disability who can no longer access the NDIS.
This forum is an opportunity for people with disability, carers, families, advocates and service providers to share their perspectives, ask questions, and raise concerns about the upcoming changes.
We know there is significant uncertainty in the community about the impact of these changes. We want to hear directly from you about your concerns, including about access to supports, availability of services, and what happens for those who may no longer have access to the NDIS.
This is a chance to share your experiences and insights with us so your voices can be represented back in the Senate and the ACT Legislative Assembly.
ACT and Federal Government representatives will be invited to attend to answer your questions and hear community feedback.
You can submit and upvote your questions on slido here and we will also be taking questions from the floor on the night.
The event will also be streamed online, if you can’t make it on the evening.
