A Vision for the Western Edge

A Vision for the Western Edge aims to protect 9,800 hectares of undeveloped land west of Canberra, integrating First Nations land management practices with scientific research. This initiative combines conservation efforts with sustainable land use, including agriculture and ecotourism, to restore biodiversity and cultural connections. By handing management and ultimately ownership to First Nations, the project seeks to create a model for environmental stewardship that ensures both ecological preservation and cultural enrichment for future generations.
