Senator Foster Critical Dialogue on Investment and AUS-US Climate Compact

Today Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg, Labor Senator Karen Grogan, and ACT Independent Senator David Pocock are sparking an essential discussion on the AUS-US Climate Compact and stimulating investment in Australia’s green export potential.

Through the Parliamentary Friends of Clean Investment, the trio is leading a panel discussion, with the following expert speakers:

  • Daniela Jaramillio, Head of Sustainable Investing Australia, Fidelity International
  • Frank Jotzo, Professor, ANU Crawford School of Public Policy
  • Michael Sullivan, Counsellor for Economic Affairs, US Embassy in Canberra
  • Zoe Whitton, Managing Director, Pollination

The panel will cover how Australia can best position itself to leverage the potential windfall from accessing the USA's Inflation Reduction Act subsidies, and how institutional investors and government can work together to accelerate climate and energy investment in Australia, minimising the risks and optimising the opportunities.

All interested MPs, Senators, staffers and media are welcome to attend.
