Join me for my second quarterly Town Hall for 2026 to unpack what the Federal Budget being handed down on 12 May means for Canberra and our community.

The Federal Budget sets the direction for government priorities, but what’s been delivered for the ACT, and what does it mean in practice for Canberrans?

This is an opportunity to better understand what’s been announced, what’s missing, and where we go from here.

You can read a copy of the pre-budget submission I made on behalf of our community here.

I’ll be joined by economist Katherine Trebeck, who will provide expert insight into the broader economic context and help break down what The Budget means for households, services and our future.

We’ll kick off with a presentation before opening up for a Q&A.

You can submit and upvote your questions on slido here and we will also be taking questions from the floor on the night.

We’ll be providing some Fricken Chicken before formalities kick off for those who’d like to arrive a bit early and grab a bite and have an informal chat.

Location: Tuggeranong Arts Centre

Date: 16 June

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

The event will also be livestreamed, with a recording available afterwards.

Please RSVP so we can keep you updated.

I’m committed to making these events inclusive, safe and accessible for everyone. If there’s anything my team or I can do to support your participation please get in touch at [email protected].
