Join us for a special Town Hall meeting at the Hughes Community Centre about the Government's proposed changes to aged care.
These are big changes that impact how much people will need to contribute to their aged care services going forward.
The changes also respond to elements of the Aged Care Royal Commission to (hopefully) ensure that aged care, whether in a residential facility or through support delivered at home, provide older Australians with care and dignity.
During the meeting, we will explore what the Government is proposing and then we will open up to Q&A.
I'm keen to receive your feedback and understand what you would like me to raise in the Senate as we consider these changes in detail.
Town Hall meetings are part of my commitment to doing politics differently and remaining open, accountable and accessible to our community.
Look forward to seeing you there.
