This training is for all our Booth Captains. We are scheduling three sessions and request that all Booth Captains attend one of these:
- in person on Saturday 26 April from 4-5pm
- in person on Sunday 27 April from 2-3pm (this session)
- online on Wednesday 30 April from 7:30-8:30pm [please note that if you attend this session, you will still need to pick up the booth kit at another time]
At this training we will provide an overview of the role and the rules to be aware of. There'll be lots of time to ask questions and for those who have been a Booth Captain before to share their tips.
The training will be held at the campaign warehouse so that you can also pick up your booth kit, with all the gear you will need to run your booth. The warehouse is pretty basic (no toilets!) but we'll run through the training and get you back on the road with your kit as fast as we can.
This training is for Booth Captains only - if you are volunteering on a booth, please register instead for one of the "pre-poll/election day volunteer training" sessions instead: https://www.davidpocock.com.au/volunteer_events.
