Get ready to come together and celebrate everything that makes Gungahlin such a vibrant and welcoming community! Celebrate Gungahlin is a free family festival showcasing the incredible diversity, creativity, and community spirit of the Gungahlin region.

Join us in April 2026 at Gungahlin Town Square for a fun-filled day of live performances by local groups, colourful market and information stalls, delicious food, hands-on workshops, exciting kids’ activities, and much more.

Based on previous years, we’re expecting around 2,500 people-families, friends, and neighbours- coming together to connect, celebrate, and share in the unique spirit of Gungahlin. With our community’s rich cultural mix and family-friendly vibe, this is a day not to be missed!

A briefing pack will be sent to you ahead of the event to help you prepare for your shift. All shifts will have 3-4 volunteers, including at least one experienced volunteer. 

First shift includes set up and last shift includes pack down.
