The doorknock for Richardson has been postponed - if you are up for it, Gunghalin has a door knock on on Sunday at Amaroo thst they need help with.

This is a low-pressure door knock, with our main aims being to be a friendly face in a Team Pocock t-shirt, to act as David’s ears and listen to what the main concerns/issues are for people living in the ACT and to let voters know that territory Senators are up for re-election every three years - meaning David will be on the ballot in 2025.

At this stage (before the election has been called), our focus is on building rapport and listening to the community rather than specifically seeking votes for David. Just a short engagement with a friendly person in a Team Pocock t-shirt can be powerful! Suggested questions (in the Knock HQ tool) are oriented toward listening to the most important issues for David’s constituents and hearing any concerns/feedback they may have, and seeking any input into areas we’ve heard are particularly important to people: Health, Housing, Cost of Living and Climate/Nature.

We will meet at the playground at the Richardson Shops (Mack St) at 2pm to make sure everyone has access to the necessary maps and doorknocking app. Don't worry if you are new to door knocking - we will pair your up with someone who has done it before.
