A Vision for the Western Edge
To mark the start of our community campaign for a vision for the Western Edge, Team Pocock are hosting a tree planting event on Saturday, 1 November.
This event is an opportunity for us to bring the Canberra community out to the Western Edge and show them it's incredible natural beauty and biodiversity importance. We're hoping once people love the area, they will help us fight for it.
Getting the word out about this event is a high priority. Letterboxing can be completed at your own pace until 5pm on Friday, 31 October.
Letterboxing:
We are aiming to letterbox suburbs located along the Western Edge of Canberra - this includes suburbs in the Molonglo Valley and West Belconnen. Each of these suburbs is available for you to self-allocate to using the shift function. One shift indicates approximately 300 dwellings. If you are able to complete more than 300 dwellings in your preferred suburb, please email or text Lily so she can allocate you to more than one shift.
Once you have allocated to your preferred suburb, please arrange to come along to one of the below collection points to collect your assigned map/s and flyers.
Collection Points:
Collection 1 - Friday, 17 October: 9:30am - 4:30pm at the Electorate Office, Gungahlin
Collection 2 - Friday, 17 October: 5:00 - 5:30pm at Two Before 10 Aranda
